SOPT series operating DC voltage system based on auot series operating current control switch
SOPT-1 series operating DC voltage system based on auot series operating current control switch.
Purpose:
Power supply to direct-current electrical receivers (electrical loads) and charge of accumulator batteries.
Range of application:
Organization of operating DC voltage system on low-power electric power stations (up to 10 kV) and substations of 35-220 kV, where the load of operating-current consumers is up to 40 A, and up to 250 A within short time (no longer than 10 minutes under peak load).
SOPT-1 consists of the following:
- operating current control switch AUOT;
- distribution cabinet ShR-05;
- cabinet with accumulator batteries.
The AUOT series operating current control switch represents a microprocessor-based cabinet of unilateral maintenance.
The distribution cabinet ShR is used to distribute load and is completed with automatic circuit breakers manufactured by leading international producers (including Schneider Electric).
Features:
- Availability of input and output circuits for overvoltage protection;
- Split monitoring of accumulator battery (AB) current and load;
- Improved thermal conditions;
- Monitoring of AB circuit availability;
- Electromagnetic interference output and input filters;
- Availability of the fans controlled in terms of speed;
- Adjustment of charging rate and recharge voltage depending of the temperature of the accumulator battery;
- Operation in concurrency mode;
- ModBusRTU protocol support with an upper-level supervisory system through RS-485 channel;
- Remote start;
- USB interfaces for on-line update of the software in the converters.
SOPT-2 series operating DC voltage system based on auot series operating current control switch
Purpose:
Power supply to direct-current electrical receivers (electrical loads) and charging accumulator batteries.
Range of application:
Organization of operating dc voltage system on electric power stations and substations of 35 kV and over (with high capacity), where the load of over 40 A (and peak loads of over 250 A) is needed for operating-current consumers.
SOPT-2 consists of the following:
- charging-recharging voltage converter of PNZP series;
- direct-current board SchPT;
- accumulator rack;
- OPzS and OGI series accumulator batteries, etc.

- Adjustment of charging rate and recharge voltage depending of the temperature of the accumulator battery.
- The accumulator batteries are charged by various methods in accordance with manufacturer’s requirements.
- Operation in the master-slave mode at which two chargers are connected to one load and one of those is working, while the other is in hot standby.
- Operation of PNZP in concurrency mode.
- ModBusRTU protocol support with an upper-level supervisory system through RS-485 channel.
- Split monitoring of accumulator battery (AB) current and load (in PNZP series transducers – М2 (3)).
- Improved thermal conditions (in PNZP series transducers – М2 (3)).
- Monitoring of AB circuit availability (in PNZP series transducers – М2 (3)).
- Electromagnetic interference output and input filters (in PNZP series transducers – М2 (3)).
