Kiosk-type complete transformer substations of KTPK series
Kiosk-type package transformer substations KTPK and KTPKm, with capacities from 25 to 1000 kVA, are intended for the reception, transformation, and distribution of three-phase AC electric power of 50 Hz commercial frequency and used for supplying electric power to rural facilities, individual residential settlements, and industrial projects.
KTPK and KTPKm are designed to operate under the following conditions:
- altitude above sea level: no more than 1000 m;
- ambient temperature: from -45° С to +40° С for the climatic category and placement category U1; from -60° С to +40° С for the climatic category and placement category UKhL1* according to GOST 15150-69 and GOST 15543.1-89 (NF1 according to IEC);
- environment: industrial atmosphere of category II according to GOST 15150-69 (non-explosive, containing no reactive gases and vapors in the concentration that may cause drop of package transformer substation’s parameters to inadmissible values);
- wind speed: up to 36 m/s (with wind pressure up to 800 Pa) in the absence of glaze ice;
- wind speed: up to 15 m/s (with wind pressure up to 146 Pa) at ice thickness of up to 20 mm.

* according to the recommendations of transformer manufacturers, U1 version transformers are allowed to be used for 10/0.4 package transformer substations of UKhL1 (NF1 as per IEC) version. The manufacturers guarantee their safe operation at a temperature of down to -60° C, but their start-up should be done at a temperature of not lower than -45° C. Otherwise, the oil should be heated or replaced for arctic-type one.
