KTPM series pole-mounted package transformer substations for 25-250 kVA
KTPM series pole-mounted single-ended package transformer substations with one outdoor transformer are designed to receive three-phase alternating-current electric power with a voltage of 6-10 kV and commercial frequency of 50 Hz. 25-250 kVA KTPM series substations are intended for supplying electric power to rural consumers, individual residential settlements, and small-size industrial projects.
25-100 kVA KTPM 1S series package transformer substation is installed on a single pole.

Operating conditions
Normal operation of KTPM is provided under the following conditions:
- altitude above sea level: no more than 1000 m;
- ambient temperature: from -40° С to +45° С according to GOST 15150-69;
- environment is non-explosive, containing no current-conducting dust, corrosive gases or vapors in concentration that may cause lowering of KTPM parameters to inadmissible values;
- protection rating: IP54 according to GOST 14254-96 (low-voltage switchgear, section of local lighting of equipment, advanced metering infrastructure (AMI));
- safety requirements according to GOST 12.2.007.4-075.
KTPM is not meant for the operation under the following conditions:
- jolting, vibration, and shock conditions;
- power supply from the 0.4 kV side;
- installation in explosive and fire-hazardous zones according to the Electrical Installation Code and in special environment according to GOST 24682-81.
KTPM has the following types of protection:
- on the HV side: against atmospheric and switch overvoltage; inter-phase short circuits;
- on the LV side: against overloading, single-phase short circuits and phase-to-phase short circuits on the 0.4 kV outgoing lines;
- short circuits on the outdoor lighting lines, indoor lighting circuits; atmospheric overvoltage.
