Universal complete transformer Substation 35(20)/0.4 kV (KTPU)
Universal package transformer substation of KTPU series for 35(20)/0.4 kV is designed to receive, transform, and distribute three-phase alternating-current electric power with a commercial frequency of 50 Hz. The best solution is to use it for feeding small-size and remote facilities, where it is impossible to construct 220(110, 35)/6(10) kV step-down substations.
The following equipment is used in 35(20)/0.4 kV universal package transformer substation:
- power transformer of TMG (TM) series with a capacity of 25, 40, 63, 100, 160, 250, 400 or 630 kVA;
- surge arresters of OPN-P series;
- polymer or porcelain insulators;
- disconnector of RGPZ 1-II-35/1000 UKhL1 (NF1 as per IEC) series.
The design features and advantages of 35(20)/0.4 kV KTPU are as follows:
- Electromechanical and electric interlocks are provided for in the substation.
- All required protection means are installed in KTPU against: atmospheric (lightning) overvoltage and switching overvoltage; line-to-line faults; overcharging and line-to-line faults on 0.4 kV lines.
- High degree of prefabrication allows quickly installing the substation on a new place.
- Easy maintenance and serviceability.
- Made with a cabled or aerial outlet on the 0.4 kV side.
- Reduced weight and size parameters.
