PKU-3 series universal commutation switches
Universal commutation switches of PKU-3 series are intended to be installed as switching devices in AC electric circuits with a commercial frequency of 50/60 Hz, voltage from 24 to 500 V and rated current from 1 to 16 A, as well as in DC circuits with a voltage from 24 to 220 V.
Climatic category is U (temperate climate) and T (tropical climate); placement category is 3 according to GOST 15150 for the commutation switches of IP00 and IP30 protection rating according to GOST 14255. The commutation switches are also usable in the reference conditions for the devices of climatic category UKhL (temperate and cold climate) (NF according to IEC) and placement category of 4.
The commutation switches are designed for installation in the complete devices of industrial and agricultural electric drives, on navy and fish fleet vessels, in shop equipment and household appliances, air conditioning devices, floor electric transport.
Examples of the designation of the device when placing an order and in the documents of other products are as follows:

Embodiment of the commutation switches is as follows:
- number of switched circuits: up to 32 (16 packages);
- number of switching positions of the handle: up to 8;
- availability of special devices:
- without special devices
- with a device for locking-up in open position (with a key-handle, PKU3211).
- according to installation and fastening manner;
- according to fixation and self-reset manner;
- according to the sequence of closing of electric circuit contacts;
- according to the type of electric circuit.
