K-61 series switchgears and controlgears for a voltage of 6(10) kV and a current of 630÷4000А
K-61 series switchgears and controlgears are intended for the reception and distribution of three-phase AC electric power with a commercial frequency of 50 Hz, voltage of 6(10) kV, and current of 630÷4000 A in the auxiliary system of thermal and nuclear power plants, as well as for the switchgears of stations and substations of industrial and other facilities of the national economy.
K-61 series switchgears and controlgears are designed for indoor operation (climatic category is UKhL3 according to GOST 15150-69 (NF3 according to IEC)) under the following conditions:
- altitude above sea level: up to 1000 m;
- upper (effective) value of ambient temperature: no higher than +40º C;
- lower value of ambient temperature: no lower than -25º C;
- atmosphere type: II according to GOST 15150-69 (approximately similar to the atmosphere of industrial areas).
If it is necessary to use K-61 series switchgear and controlgear in spaces with ambient temperature below minus 5º C, installation of heating elements ensuring normal temperature conditions for the operation of its accessory devices and automatically going on at a temperature below minus 25º C is provided for in the switchgear and controlgear cabinet.
