K-63 series indoor switchgears and controlgears for a voltage of 6(10) kV
K-63 series switchgears and controlgears are intended for the reception and distribution of three-phase AC electric power with a commercial frequency of 50 Hz and voltage of 6-10 kV.
K-63 series switchgears and controlgears are used as 6(10) kV switchgears of different-purpose substations, including grid-connected substations, substations for industrial facilities, oil-field substations, substations for power supply to agricultural consumers, and railway transport substations.
K-63 series switchgears and controlgears are designed for indoor operation (climatic category is U3 according to GOST 15150-69 (N3 according to IEC)) under the following conditions:
- altitude above sea level: up to 1000 m;
- upper (effective) value of ambient temperature: no higher than +40º C;
- lower value of ambient temperature: no lower than -25º C;
- atmosphere type: II according to GOST 15150-69 (approximately similar to the atmosphere of industrial areas).
The construction of K-63 series switchgears and controlgears are earthquake-proof within the full range of earthquake effects up to 9 magnitudes on the MSK-64 scale, including at the level of 25 m according to GOST 17516.1.3-90.
K-63 series switchgears and controlgears can operate at an altitude above sea level above 1000 m; at that, one should follow the instructions of GOST 8024, GOST 1516.3, and GOST 14693.
K-63 series switchgear and controlgear cabinets comply with the requirements of GOST 14693.
